Hand Watch (with numbers) or Digital Watch?

Do you have a preference?
The nostalgic hand watch or analog as they are called uses time displayed with a numbered dial upon which the clock hands are rotated and point to the numbered location. There is a rotating hour hand and a longer, rotating minute hand. Many watches also incorporate a third hand for seconds.
A digital display watch shows the time as a number, e.g., 11:05 instead of hands pointing towards the number 11 and 5. The first digital electronic watch was produced in 1970, a "Pulsar LED prototype developed jointly by Hamilton Watch Company and Electro-Data."
There were many issues with these initial watches particularly the inefficiency of battery usage, which made the watches lose power and not run continously. It wasn't until the 1980s onward, that digital watch technology vastly improved.
For me I own a digital wrist watch although I do have clocks with hands in my home.
How about your timepieces?

@Hannihar I also have hand watches with a Velcro strap, lol. The regular bands never properly fit my wrist so this way it's an easy adjustment.

@dgobucks226 That would be nice as well, but for analog is a bit challenging. Maybe because this is what we are used to.

I'm one of those who need to know the exact time. I hate to be late to an appointment and digital focuses me better.

Analog is definitely more classy than digital "C." With the cell phone, one really does not need a wrist watch anymore.

@dgobucks226 Even a digital can get a wrong time on it. I prefer the regular numbers vs. the digital.

Yes, my alarm clock is also digital numbers, I do have some clocks on my walls with hands. My wrist watches though are digital numbers. I guess I'm obsessed with having the exact time, lol.

I don't tend to wear watches much, but I do like my digital one that has a huge face on it. Antique winder clocks are lovely too

My sibs and I bought my parents a wind up clock for their Anniversary years ago. It ran very well for many years and was a nice momento. It was fun to take the key to wind it!

I have one in my home and they are classic looking. For trying to get somewhere at a certain time, digital works better for me.

I prefer watches with numbers. But I haven't worn a watch for a long time. I use my mobile phone to see the time now.

Yes, Mobile phones are just as effective as the digital watch in providing an exact time.

My watch has numbers as well as the clock in my house. The only digital time shows on our cable box. I really don't have a preference when it comes to either analog or digital

For me it's no watch. I haven't worn one for years now. With my cell phone always in my pocket, I haven't felt the need for a watch.
