I few years ago my finances went in the toilet. Heck I know a lot of people had the same going on. But it just seem that for every step I make forward on getting back on track the world slams me with another backwards. I change jobs to a better paying get plenty of overtime then just when things start looking better overtime drys up, car brakes down, and a bill I have not quite got to yet starts to garnish my check. Why me. Enough pouting time to get back to work.

I am sorry to hear that this is happening to you. On the brighter side, you have a good paying job which a lot of people don't really have. Heck, people my age do not even have part time jobs. Also, I believe that this too shall pass for all of us. Just hang in there and we will all catch a break sometime.

I've been there. In my previous company where I work for 15 years as a contractual seafarer. When I disembark for vacation, next thing I know there was no assign vessel for me. Had to apply for other agency to work abroad and found no success. Then we need to motivate ourselves to go and continue. And there is always a question, why me? But as we struggled along the way and focused on the things that you really want, hard enough to get it. I found out that we became a magnet, suddenly something changes inside you. It is because we believed that something is going to happen and it is coming.
