I am hours away from an Asian store, and there are days that I crave Philippine snacks, foods, and products. Asking my family in the Philippines to send me stuff from there can be very costly and it could take a long time. So every time my husband and I have a chance to visit other towns with Asian stores, I always bring a cooler and stock up.
Imagine my joy when I saw that this Philippine Asian store also sells and delivers stuff ordered online. Although at first I was hesitant trying their service but I finally bit the bullet and ordered a boxful of goodies. Now I can have my favorite snacks and stock up on other Philippine products that I miss without the huge cost and hours of driving.

I have all sorts of Asian Markets nearby. I don't often go to them though only when I need soy sauce, noodles and some cooking spices/herbs.

@Raine38 Yes! Speaking of not going often.. I went today to get some noodles and fried pork / meat balls to make Vietnamese noodles for dinner. :)

@infatuatedbby you torture me! I got married last month and I was on a diet so I have to "quit" eating my favorite noodles for 6 months because I want to look good and slim in my wedding photos. Now that that is over, I think I can indulge once again. Of course everything will be in moderation as I think more than the weight, eating clean and healthy for me is more about being healthy than looking good.

I am so glad that you found that site. Does the site offer a rewards program?

@ScribbledAdNauseum I wish the online store would also reward their buyers that way. It's actually a good idea and it makes for a repeat transaction.

@Raine38 Well the free shipping is a nice touch, and a surprise freebie isn't bad either.
I like British Foods, and I order from a couple of sites that have reward programs attached to them. I also always use a coupon code with one of them.

really good for you that they do deliveries. =) I wanted to try the online grocery shopping with free delivery, but then here they can actually give you or get you some close to expiry ones, of course since i am not the one to get them myself i fear they might not give me the freshest on the shelves.

Sounds like you missed Philippines so bad. I'm just here in Baguio but I missed the food from the lower part of the island.

@Raine38 Maybe you should so you can stock up with all the food you're missing when you not here.
