My Son Is a Smarty Pants

This afternoon I got a text from my son which asked how I was doing in all this heat today. I replied fine because I'm in the house in the air conditioning. He said..well I'm checking on the elderly like they advise us too on days like this!!
So I laughed and asked how he was doing and he was outside replacing a water pump for someones well that had broken.( He's a plumber)
I made sure he was staying hydrated and using sunscreen (as a concerned mom would be) and then told him to get out of the sun because he must be having heat stroke because I AM NOT ELDERLY! 
It was nice of him to check on me but I wasn't overly fond of his joke.....hahahaha

@Marilynda1225 He is trying to impress you. Maybe, he is having it rough out there trying to make people comfortable in their skin. I don't know, but it seems he is the shy type.
