Unbelievable potatoes

August 30, 2018 6:42am CST
I always buy potatoes at our local grocery. Until I run-out of stock and decided just to buy from the wet market. And guess what? All of the potatoes that they are selling are very dirty. Still full of soil and when you wash it, it will take about 2 minutes to totally clean it with a brush.

What's wrong with that? It means they are fresh.

I don't like the feel of the sandy soil on my aluminum sink.

I buy dirty potatoes from the farmerĀ“s market and clean ones (when pressure wash it) at the supermarket. I place the dirty ones to soak for a minute and the wash them easily.

Sorry but I was like ' Ha. Ha. Here's a city girl for you'. They are not dirty. They grows in soil. The cleaned ones sold in stores won't stay edible for long time or they had been sprayed with chemicals. By the way, I dug my own potatoes.
