How many books have you read in one day, week and/or month?

I took out three books from the library last Friday.
I've already finished two of them.
But they were poetry books, so that's why I read them so fast.
I actually read them in one sitting.
The third book is a novel.
I am about halfway done with it.
Will definitely finish it before my 3-week loan time is up.
How many books have you read in one day, a week and/or a month?

I average a book a week over the course of a year.

A book a week is not bad. That's like 52 books read when the year is over.

I do not read anything, I prefer audio books or useful videos I try to finish one high-quality audiobook for one month

@MashaVickina I just never thought of listening to a book as I love to read but it may be enjoyable to listen to one.

It depends on how much time you can dedicate to sitting down and reading and if you are actually in the mood to read.

Sometimes I read books that are only around 80 pages, and so I might read three of those in one day.
If the book is something very good, it will take me three days. I just finished "The Haunting of Maddy Clare" by Simone St. James, and it only took me about three days to read. It was around 300 pages, so 100 pages a day.
I have a book "Amber" (I forget the author) and it is easily 700 pages. I haven't started it, but if it's any good, I anticipate it taking me maybe three weeks.

If I am in the mood to read and have the time for it I can maybe finish a book in one day if it is not too big. I've done that in the past, though not lately.

I'm glad to know that you are reading poetry, my friend. I hope you've enjoyed them. Poetry is my thing, my passion. With that, let me share one piece of mine about poetry.
TITLE: SIMPLY POEMS ARE
Upon the kiss of paper and quill
The pregnancy of emotions
Words into the ocean sail
Born a poem so true with dedication
Happiness and loneliness collide
All pains are there, those love too
Colors of smile and grimace, put on words to survive
Stories of white and blue
Poems are unpolished stones, looking for a friend
When it chilled someone to the bone
Then stones turn to lovely gems
And finally to the reader's heart, poems found a home....

@lovebuglena Wow, so you are a published poetess. That's cool. Me, it is just my hobby.

@dodo19 Yes. And it's one of the great ways to learn a new language I think.

Nothing wrong with that as long as you read.
