Why is there more medals in the country now?

This is pertinent only to those who like bright, shiny objects. For the rest of us, there is no difference if there is one medal more or less. Asiad 2018 is pulling its curtains down and many Indians are happy there is so much progress though some of the old, expected medals did not come. Hopefully, we will do more in the next Asiad.

We ended up eighth in the medal tally. Going by population we should have been second to China. We have miles to go - siva

Yes, we do have more things to do. But, we hold on to the eight position - that is something commendable.
