A couple in North Carolina wins the jackpot after losing their home in Virgin Islands

Frank snd Patricia Raffa are counting their blessings after they played a $1 dollar ticket in the Pick 5 North Carolina lottery recently.
The Raffas lost their home in the Virgin Islands when Hurricane Irma came through the islands.The couple moved to North Carolina to share a home with their daughter.
The winning lottery ticket was bought at a store in Arden North Carolina the week before the drawing.
After they paid the income taxes, the married couple were paid $229,121 dollars.
The couple plan to purchase a new home and enjoy their winnings from the state lottery.

@Deepizzaguy Nope, God doesn't play the lottery, but he does use anything he pleases, to get his work accomplished! A donkey for Balaam? A burning bush for Moses? A river full of water, for the children of Israel? A giant fish for Jonah? A firey furnace for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? A rock for Moses?
