I have been thinking of getting a fitness tracker to keep a track of my running routines and heart rate. Do the Fitness trackers really help in tracking the fitness regime and is the data shown to be accurate? Kindly suggest some good fitness bands, trackers or watch you have been using to good effect.

I have been using my Fit Bit for the past 6 months. Though I am not an athlete but I like to work out and do some cardio. This little machine on my wrist really helps me to monitor every step I take. It even tells me the heart rate which allows me to know when to stop.
Yes, these days smartphones do have apps for tracking everything, but as per my experience, they are not accurate. Different apps work differently. Moreover, you cannot always have a phone in your hand. On the other side, a device like Fit Bit can always be there on your wrist monitoring your every step.
