What does the Bible have to say about consuming alcohol and is this really a sin?

I think the Bible indicates it is only a sin if you over indulge and get drunk. Drinking in moderation is ok.

it becomes a sin when you get drunk. but a small amount of it, is ok.

I am not sure about it. But it is for sure bad for your health if it is too much.
