Reading bad books and kitchen chores: not happy.

Yesterday the guests left late and I did not feel well. So I soaked some dishes and went to bed. Today I was not well so I just got up to cook some diet food and went back to bed. I had a big nap and finally I was myself again. So I went back to the kitchen to do the rest of the work. The dishwasher is full with pots and dishes and I´m just waiting for 10pm when electricity is lower here. I´ll mylot a bit and then read one of the bad novels I have to read for Alejandra. She is the jury of a novel contest and her eyes are bad. But I didn´t know the novels would be so bad. I´m bored. I´ll go check on my notifications and read some of your posts before that. See you here.

Our power is much cheaper after 9pm at night. That's when I do my laundry and turn on the dishwasher. It stays cheap until 7am so sometimes I'll get up early and iron or whatever to take advantage of the cheaper rates.

Ours too. I don´t iron but I wash the dishes at night. Leticia will not let me was the laundry at night, but she is right. I use gas the warm the water and she takes the clean clothes out immediately so that there´s no need to iron them.

I sure hate having to read boring books. I just purchase You Must Remember This about Old Hollywood was written by actor Robert Wagner. It sounded interesting in the review. I hope it gets better but in the beginning, he starts blabbing about who built what, when and how much it cost etc. I am sitting there and it's like you don't say and wishing he would tell me about the old-time actors and actresses.

@marguicha I agree with that but hopefully, there will be something to like in the book later on. It makes me picture an old man who just loves to gab

Oh, it is not fun having to read a bad book. It seems to take forever.

Reading a bad novel takes forever whereas a good one is a page turner. Hope you can get through it for Alejandra

There isn´t one. I have to write it after I read it. The authors have not been published and the contest is done to publish the best novel. These are not the best.
