That's the importance of reading online reviews before typing that letters in their 'register' button.

All the offers that you describe are trying to get your details so that they can send you marketing emails, so they usually, at least, want a valid email address. If they are offering a cent or two for that, it's up to you whether you think it's worth being spammed ever after for it. Many such offers also want you to register for a 'trial' period and also want your credit card details. They rely on the fact that most people forget to cancel their subscription before the trial period ends but, if you are careful and make sure to cancel in time, you might make 10 or 20 cents from them.
Any such offers which claim to pay more than the kind of payments outlined above, don't have clear Terms and Conditions or make it very difficult to cancel your subscription (perhaps by requesting you to send a letter to a physical street address) should definitely be avoided and, if you don't want the product they are selling, always think VERY hard about giving out your personal details, especially credit card or payment information!

I have been to a lot of writing sites just like here. But I cannot leave myLot, I always have to peek in here and interact. Eventually, I left those site and now myLot is my only writing site.
