Yikes! Heart Attack

Last night we were guests at a dinner party to celebrate Labor Day. We knew our hosts and several other friends, but not everyone. My husband was discussing investments with a nice man we had just met.
I noticed the man, but was busy gabbing with the girls and helping the hostess put out food. All of a sudden, my husband shouted for someone to call 911, our emergency number. My husband assumed that poor man was having a heart attack, and he was right! He may have his doctorate, but he’s no M.D.
The hostess gave him a baby aspirin and the ambulance arrived in less than 4 minutes. He was taken straight to the hospital and is doing well thank goodness!
I’m so proud of my hubby for recognizing the signs of a heart attack and doing what he did. What a crazy dinner party!

Way to go hubby.
I bet people skipped all pork at that dinner.

I'm glad he is doing well. Hearing someone say call 911 is never good.

Your husband was quick to action and had the presence of mind. The first few minutes of an attack is very crucial as I've read.

@sunrisefan Thank you. Just the fact that the man is okay is good enough for my husband. He was so relieved to hear the good news.

Wow! That's quite an experience? Good thing your husband acted quickly and may have saved a life. What did your husband notice that alerted him to what was happening?

Lucky that the man was saved in time because of your husband promptness.
My aunt seems to have got a silent attack last evening and they came to know of it only when she went to doctor as she could not bear the discomfort of her acidity anymore. The doctor told that she already had a silent attack just before coming to hospital. I was shocked to get a call from my cousin this morning. Thankfully she is stable now in hospital and is undergoing further tests.
