A footstool becomes a headstool

The photo is of an adjustable foot stool that I used to use when I taught piano. Some of the younger pupils would sit with their feet swinging so I purchased this stool to make them more comfortable. You can see that the top ledge can be raised or lowered according to need. Since I stopped teaching, I use it as my desk as my legs must be a bit short too. They reach the floor but I’m more comfortable with my feet on the stool.
Today Vince has been continuing to install a diesel heater into the caravan. Part of the installation necessitates him laying on his back under the caravan and working above his head. He has found it really difficult to hold his head up when working like this so today we put a towel on the foot-stool to pad it a bit and lo and behold, we had a head-stool. He was able to work in much more comfort. There is always a solution to a problem, isn’t there?

A great idea.
I also love to keep my feet on a stool while working on my laptop or work desk.

It's amazing the solutions we can come up with if we just put our minds to it. Ingenuity is what sets us humans aside from other animal species.

@JudyEv I would argue that there are some humans living among us that are far behind the monkeys! haha

The neck is so delicate in any case so we have to support it and take good care of it all we can.

Okkaayy. I'll spell it out
1. You put the headstool down where you think it needs to go. Push it under the caravan with your foot if need be.
2. You moan and groan and get down on your hands and knees then onto your back and ease your way under. Complaints about the sticks and stones under you is optional.
3. You call out to the TA (that's me) that you forgot the towel.
4. Said TA hands you a rolled up towel.
5. You place the towel on the headstool.
6. You place your head on the towel on the headstool.
7. You wriggle round a bit and decide the headstool is too low.
8. You manouevre the headstool out from under and shout for the TA to move it up a notch.
9. You yell at the TA to hurry up as your neck is starting to hurt already.
10. You try out the adjusted headstool and decide you want it back where it was.
Oh, hang on a bit. Were you talking about a different sort of head? I'm not going there.

You need to make a cushion for it.

Yes, looking around to see what you could use to solve the problem.
