A while ago, my mom and I are having a small talk about life. ( Im a product of a broken family) and from my experience, it is not really easy growing up without a father.. my mom and I are very close to each other that we just laugh and jokes about things and don't get offended .. so while we were talking she jokes on me that my three kids looks exactly like me so she jokes that my husband must really loved me that's why my kids got my looks. I laughed and said now I know why me and my siblings looks like my father. She laughed and said , if you'd only knew . So I asked her seriously, what if my dad asked for forgiveness and second chance? ( They were separated since I was 9, so that's 15 years ago) and she said, he's still my husband.. then I asked her, you will still accept him after all the things he say and did to you ?
And I couldn't believed what my mom has answered me,
She said " you know what, he is my first crush when I was a kid. My first boyfriend, my first heartbreak , not my FIRST actually because he is really my only man since day one. I sacrificed everything for your dad and I told myself, he is the one I wanna be with for the rest of my life.."
-- you're not tired of his lies ? and aren't you tired of the things he did to you , not just once but over and over again?
She said with tears in her eyes " yes im tired, im really tired, I got tired that's why we end up like this.. but it's been 15 years already, I've rested so well to the point that i don't mind at all if I got tired again, (she's talking about my dad) .. I've been waiting for 15 years, and I can wait longer till he comes back. Call me a martyr but nothing can change the fact that my heart only beats for my husband, your dad"
And from there, I do believe now that
TRUE LOVE WAITS.

I know a woman who accepted her husband back after 15 years of separation. Before the reunion, her children asked the same questions to her.
