Have you ever used a dating site to find a partner? Would you? What do you think of sites like Match.com and the like?

no ive never used a site like that, but my friends mom met her husband that way and they are extremely happy. i dont thik theres anything wrong with them

i've used a few sites and found them a great way to meet people. it doesn't guarantee you love more than meeting someone in "the real world" but it does open up the opportunity to meet people you might never have met otherwise. i have had 2 long term relationships from people i've met on dating sites and like wise i've had a lot of "first dates" that went nowhere. i think you just have to keep an open mind and realise lunatics and insincere people are everywehre and you can meet then on the net as well as on the street

No I've never used a dating site. This is my first chat site that I've joined. Using the computer for dates was not always so common as it is these days. You say you have a friend that you ought to get rid of who meets many women via the computer. Things sure change.

I have never used a dating website and don't think I ever would do, they are just not for me.

I've heard bad things about Match and other paid sites. Like they'll try to scam people and stuff. Make a potential partner sound really great just to get some money out of them. Hope that makes sense. I'm sure it doesn't. Anyway, if you're looking for a site, try www.plentyoffish.com They're completely free.

Hahahaha! No, no, no, I am not looking for any sites. I am actually happily attached. I just was curious and thought I'd ask if anyone used them. There are always commercials all over TV, so I wanted to know how many people actually met their significant other than way.
