I have been struggling with depression since 2013. I lost all my friends, failed my school year and left my previous job. I don't want to open old wounds, but there is this Turkish song which says 'benim cigerim yanar' meaning 'my inside keeps burning' and that's what it feels to be depressed.
Today, however, I decided to change my life for the better...
I 'm starting my new job on September 15, so the day after tomorrow I'm going to the hairdresser to get my hair dyed. I might also get a pedicure. From now and on, I want to live life to the fullest and forget about all the painful memories. I want to GROW UP.

I hope that you have a wonderful experience with your new job. 
I thank the Lord for all of the people He put into my life to help me through my depression/anxiety/OCD (it's been called all of those) when it first reared its ugly head. I am very thankful for all that He has brought me through.
