Just Breathe And Listen....

Yesterday we got our first rain after a dry winter. It was so good to hear rain falling again and to see the flash of lightning and hear the rumble of thunder.
I have much on my mind lately and while listening to the rain falling outside, the storm breaking, I told myself to just breathe and listen to the rain, focus on the rain and the storm and try to still my mind. Does rainy or stormy weather soothe you?
I hope all of you have a peaceful weekend with whatever weather you enjoy.

@bluesa Our weather hasn't been too bad lately, other than being ridiculously hot. After an incredibly rainy year, it was nice that we've had a brief dry spell, as it hasn't rained in the past week (hence why it has been so hot).

it is expected that strong rains will fall due to the severe weather conditions coming to my region. i hope it will be light rains and typhoon will disintegrate

@bluesa we are safe here, my friend. the neighbors though had their excuse of throwing their garbage just in front of our gate, that my sister was fuming mad when their trash was nearly covering the pathway for the people. good thing our newly-elected local chairman requested big dump truck and back hoe to collect the garbage.

It does sometimes. Sometimes I just love listening to the pitter patter of the rain and breathe that air. But when rain lasts for so many days, it can be depressing.

I love the color of that flowers! Yes, I love a good thunderstorm and rain, but only in Florida. Here, I'm afraid for Doodles. He gets so scared from thunder. I do prefer them when I'm home with no plans to go out or at night at bedtime.
