Starting a blog

Since i have a lot of free time and i like sharing and discussing stuff with people sope friends of mine suggested me to start a blog.
What do you thing guys ? What are the benefits of starting a blog ? Does it bring you money ? A career ? Anything ?

I have two blogs, one for my spiritual writing and one for my poetry. There are two main platforms that offer free blogs that you may want to look into Blogger and wordpress. Blogging is not going to make you a lot of money, dear. Unless you have a very large following like in the 10,000. Most people I know, who blog do so because they love to share the things that they write about. Good luck with it if you start one. There are many bloggers who will be willing to help you if you need help.

Yes if you have lots of free time, you can start a blog and write some interesting and unique articles which will bring plenty of traffic to your blog. After that you can think of monetizing it.

I never did a blog although I have thought about it. I use to write things before the internet was popular. At 77 years old, I do have a lot to say and many subjects to include but I never get around to it. I got more done when I was working than I do since I have been retired.
