Last book you read

The last book which I recently completed was Our Moon Has Blood Clots written by Rahul Pandita. The book talks about the real life experiences of the author and his family during the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir, India. Its a very touching book and moved me very deeply.
What is the last book you read, some details about it and whether you enjoyed reading it?

@aadesh_1987 The last book I read a week back was "Jaimala "which is about a folktale of Uttarakhand.The great HindI author Shailesh Matiyani has presented it in the former of a very interesting and inspiring small novel.Another book I had read before that is the HindI translation of "Freedom at midnight"- about developments from the arrival of India's last British viceroy Lord Mountbettan and the partition of India to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

@aadesh_1987 Yes,I love my mother tongue HindI and all languages of my country.We have so many rich languages.

@Shivram59 true that, I find the regional literature very difficult to understand as it has some really difficult words which I have no idea of

@aadesh_1987 she has authored some good books. I am planning on reading more, the characters develop beautifully through out the story
