Tonight will be spaghetti for dinner. I will fix my spaghetti squash and the hubby's pasta and share the marinara sauce. I love spaghetti night. My day will one again be filled with reading, writing, and cooking. So it will be the same old same old. We have been thinking about moving back to our other house. It's bigger and it is wheel chair friendly. Yep, I need to start getting myself used to the idea of a wheelchair life. The way I look at it is that I still have my brain so it's not as bad as it could be otherwise. I can still do the things that I like to do. My favorite things will still be there for me to be involved in. If I had to chose what ability I would have to lose it would be the ability to walk. It's not that I don't like walking, it's just that it is the lesser of all evils. So, I have been busily planning our move back. I've picked our new colors for the rooms and different room arrangements. What's happening in your life?

I also wanted to have a wheelchair in the house, but our house is small. It is not a wheelchair friendly. And it's not that I can't walk and stand, I just wanted to have one in case.

The house in Inverness had been built wheelchair friendly by the original owner. It is so open and nice that I was attracted to the looks right away. Now I am very glad I have kept it all these years.

@JustBhem I have been in the wheelchair only every now and then on really bad days. I will be in the wheelchair in a few months. There is nothing they can do to stop the progress.

I'm glad you are so positive about having to move into a wheelchair. I guess it will at least make the transition easier.

The way I figure it is that I have had all this tie moving under my own power, I guess it's time to give up a little control.

Spaghetti squash is a vegetable you cook and take the stands out. It takes ton the flavor of the sauce you put on it. I tried to send a picture of it but it won't do. Try googling spaghetti squash.

I will get used to living in the other house. It is easier for me to get around there. The wheel chair is something else I will learn to deal with. As long as I can continue to be able to write I will be fine.

@HazySue I agree. As long as you can write, nothing else matters, you can deal with it easier.

Just work. I am living in the wheelchair friendly house now, I think I will move, one day, back to the smaller house close to town.

It's funny how there are those of us who move back and forth between homes. I guess it's for the best.

I think that moving back to a more wheelchair friendly house is a good move. I agree that it's not easy to live on a wheelchair, but there are other functions of our body that would be worse not to be able to use anymore, the sight being one of the most important. I am glad you are planning with a positive outlook.

I think along those lines also. It could be so much worse. I can still do the things I love most.

I think it is good to stay busy as long as you can. Sometimes it is the kindest think to do to let them keep try to do for you,

So, how was it? Your pasta looks delish. As for me, I had a pretty tough day yesterday. I didn't accomplish anything and the news about the super typhoon really is stressing me out. I just hope and pray that it will lose it strength as it enters the PAR. Also, I was feeling weak and uncomfortable the whole day, and I don't know why.

I hope everyone will be safe and the typhoon will dwindle to a small puff of wind and a tiny wave.
