Talking about hurricanes

Have you ever been in a natural disaster? Hurricane, tornado or earthquake? Since I have lived here..I guess I have been in all 3 although the hurricane effects have been minimal..I had home damage from a tornado and also from an earthquake! Prior to living here in the war zone..I hadn't experienced too much severe weather or events..Hurricane Isabel was about the worst..although I have been in some white out conditions before. What about you any natural disasters?

Earthquakes are plenty scary. Sone of the aftershocks wete worse than thecactual event

@rakski One time were in bed when one happened. We felt so vulnerable.

@snowy22315 very true. But during that time, most of the aftershock were felt near the fault line which is quite far from us.

Here we always experience typhoons. If your house is of lighter materials, you really have to evacuate, because they can be blown away.

I only experienced earthquake but that was like 20 years ago. I'm happy these natural disasters are not common in my place. The worst that happens are landslides and floods

There is a Super Typhoon coming our way. It is by far the strongest for this year.

When I was young, 6 years old, a flood happended on my hometown.
All the families took the valueble subjects and spent the night on the embankment.
Some families made the bamboo raft.
Also we received some cloths donated from the city after this disaster.
As for how horrible this flood is, I can't remember any more
