Do you ever find when it rains it pours and not about the rain at all

I have gone through a period of having to replace or get new things and now my air purifier is very old I found out from someone that I trust that fixed it. In the meantime it works but do not know for how long. It came at a bad time with another holiday next week and then our last one starting the week after that. That is why I said when it rains it pours. Now, I have to find a new one as soon as I can and use that as backup. Why can't people be honest and give you something that is not old and not really fix the problem but try something that is not even the problem.

It's hard to find honest people today. It's even harder to find out if what you buy from someone else will work or not, especially if you don't know whether you can trust what that person tells you.
I bought a car a few years ago, that looked good, and my son-in-law looked it over and said it looked good. However, I didn't have it very long when the heater went out, not a good thing to happen in winter in Wisconsin, and then I had to replace the brake lines, and not just one, but all of them. I was pouring money into that car. I was glad to get rid of it.

Valerie, you are so right. That is why I gave up on him and turned to people I do trust. That is horrible what some people do. That is so sad that the heater gave out. Yes, I know your winters are horrible and you need heat. I remember growing up in Minneapolis when I had a car I used to have to go out in the middle of the night to warm it up so would start in the morning when I needed it.

If the guy that I bought the purifier from was honest and fixed it or gave me not an old one but a new one then I would not have had to go through what I did. Since he is not honest I have to look elsewhere for a new one and hope and pray until I get a new one the old one continues to work for me.

yes it does seem too many things hit us at once.like right when we are terrible broke or without quite enough funds. like our car just needs fixed right when we are broke.

Yes, a very popular expression. Another I use is "Murphy's Law." When one thing goes wrong it seems other things follow. I just had to replace my refrigerator not long ago and this week my microwave stopped working, geesh!

I have never heard of Murphy's Law for that but yours fits very well in the category when it rains it pours. I am sorry all that happened to you at once. I had things happen to me also in a short period of time and I say when will it get better.

It is hard when it happens but somehow I get through it. After our holidays are over I will have to get new batteries for my scooter and a new air purifier and other things.

You know it took three different people over the years just to fix our cement roof and put a proper water proofing on it.
Some people just wants more money than what they can contribute.
