Philip Would Not....

Philip was a little boy that was born with a problem with the outside World.
Its not for real though its a film really and it reflects the many problems these kind of children come up against.
He was only happy when he was outside roaming the wild moors of Yorkshire.
He came across and befriended a Horse with blue eyes unusual in those parts of the World.
His friend the horse who he named Philip like himself got himself stuck in a swamp which in England is known as a quagmire.
In spite of the efforts to get him out he was not responding and giving up.
The little boy slid himself across the mud surface and talked to Philip in his ear and said "don´t die Philip don´t give up, please wake up".
The horse got up almost right away and they were able to pull him to safety.
The little boy was able to say and speak all he had not been able to do before in all that time.
The video I have managed to find I guess its a copy of the original film. Its not that brilliant but its a very moving story of a boy who had huge problems and was on the mend the same as the horse.
This in a way is true to real life.

Its a real heart tugger and he played the part so well.
He also played "Oliver Twist" very well too.
I so love horses and for them both to get on together like that in the Film was really something.

@lovinangelsinstead21 have you watched the Disney animated movie Spirit? It’s a story about a wild mustang stallion.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I ended up reading the biography of that child actor. So he was the one who played the main roles in the Prince and the Pauper movie. I like that one very much.

Yes and I have not seen that Film as such as this one is much closer to home with me and it puts these children out there in a way we can understand that we could easily be him or her and that animals play such a big part in our lives.
He was a very sensitive actor.

Is this part of a film? incredible knowing that the horse gets inspired by the child.

Yes its part of a film its so dark because it was very bad weather and there was a lot of fog
amd very cold and rainy.
Yes he responded to the child as it was the first time he had heard his real voice.

That´s lovely, so lovely there was a lot of light there because the spirit of the horse rallied round and became alive again.

Its a really lovely story honest.
Made ages and ages ago with the child actor Mark Lester who was wonderful as Oliver Twist also.

Yes he was very gifted and its more about how he put the problem of these beautiful children across for me.
Very moving where he speaks to the horse and hearing his voice spoken he gets up and fights.

Sounds like the horse and Phillip were each others healing agent. The message" life's a struggle but don't give up, because love will conquer all" " Strength comes from venues untravelled, but can appear on a dime"

Its a beautiful story because the boy when he sees the horse not responding he dares to go to him and speak to him and to listen to him.
It can be true really and I am not sure altogether if it is or not.
