Still haven't found a new doctor

My psychiatrist "referred" me to another one last month which was a nice way of telling me that he wouldn't see me any longer. I didn't realize that was what was happening at the time but it was clear when I was about out of meds and tried to get him to call in a refill and he refused.
I've been calling all of the doctors listed online on my insurance's web site and they either don't answer the phone, don't take my insurance, or aren't accepting new patients. It has been a highly frustrating and upsetting experience, especially since I never wanted to stop seeing my original doctor in the first place.
My husband is going to make some calls today to see if he can find a doctor in the area. The information on the health insurance's web site is clearly out-dated. He is working from home and will have the time and means to just sit in his home office with the phone and make as many calls as he wants. Me? Not so much. Hopefully he will have some good info for me by the time I get home from work. We shall see.

I've also heard of people ordering medications, online from Canada. The prices are cheaper, but I'm not sure about how this is accomplished. I will pray about this, you deserve the very best out there:)
