It seems to me that this approach to working has no specific retirement. You can work as long as you are able and there offers for work.

No it don't. That is advantage of freelance. You can work when, where and how long you want.

I do not think freelance/online work has any retirement age. As long as you can do it, you can continue working.

@yoalldudes can't say that I am. I do not believe in luck. I believe in hard work and hustle.

On the contrary with the age we get more experience and we can do better work of a freelancer or as online worker! We can work here as long as we wish! In fact today on this site we have many people who already got retired in their real life jobs!

I don’t think so...it’s good to earn some money in the age of retirement

I feel that retirement would be so boring without something to give some sense of fulfillment - be it a hobby or work.

Yes freelance has no retirement because they will hire you as long as you can deliver what they want. They would not mind if you are old or young.

@yoalldudes yeah but I am not too confident yet that’s why I am sticking with this regular job I have. I still have a child in school and is far from college yet. Freelancing can be a break or not and I might not be able to afford college of my son.

@rsa101 Surprisingly we are in the same situation. I'm too scared not to get my daughter through college if I messed up with transitioning to online jobs. It seems it will have to wait afterwards.

It's so tempting to move to online freelancing isn't it?

I guess none as long as you can still deliver what your client ask you to do. I hope I can find a lot of online job hehehehe. So I don't need to work away from home. Heheheh.

Yes, I don't think there should be retirement age here, because this can avoid dementia for oldies like me.

That is a valuable idea you shared. Thank you. We wouldn't have to worry that retirement will be boring. And it has never before become important that we love what we do.

I couldn't agree more. In fact, my aunt who is now 61 years old, is working as an online freelancer. She works as a bookkeeper.
