Hi mylotters. There are some people over here who are constantly misunderstanding me by the way I react to their comments on my discussions. Time and again I have clarified myself that I acknowledge a person so mention thanks in my comments. I don't know how to carry forward the statement made by someone. Their are just opinions of people which are their in comments. How am I suppose to talk further?? If you guys know pls tell me. I am deeply hurt by some comments people are posting.

@akalinus , It is individual's decision how one feels to act here on this site! But since this is a social site people also have their right to talk about the factors that as defeating the purpose of the site!

Please don't misunderstand the people! This is a discussion forum and people want to discuss with you, because if you respond them then only they are going to get benefit out of you! Your simple thanks for their sincere and time consuming responses will not keep them happy! It hurts most when people give you chance to talk further or extend the discussion further and you simply wind up the discussion with simple thanks! We can extend the discussion here like in our real life, we can simply add some thing or other to keep the discussion going on! It is not misunderstanding you....rather people want to encourage you to come out openly and participate further, which is the main motto of this forum! Wish you all the best...hope you understood what I meant? Stay blessed!

@Rashnag, Any way since you got the point try to be interactive as much as possible and within no time you will be popular! People don't have time to carry grudge agaunst any one here! I too had differences with few people here in the past but today we are all good friends!

I understand what you have said perfectly and agree with it. There isn't any conversation taken place with me wherein I have just replied thanks and ignore them. It's just a opinion they share. For eg:-If someone asks me how I m and have a good day. I have replied in a good way, and not just said thanks.

@AKRao24 I don't carry any grudge for anyone ever. I will be interactive in the way I am comfortable not as per what other people will say.

Ive been on that situation too. It's hurting when someone misunderstood you and no matter what you explain to them, their ears are closed.

I don't mind thank you posts, but some people might expect more to keep the discussion going, so dont mind them and if it works for you, keep the discussion going with like minded people.

Try asking open-ended questions in comments and replies. A lot of times if a person just leaves a quick reply, I use that chance to see what they have posted lately or to see what other posts interest them. Keeping things going doesn't have to pertain to just your post, conversation, they can carry on in a number of posts.

I don't mind with your 'Thank You' answers generally, but I know others might. They have different expectations from their comments. Please do what you feel like, its your personal take.
