This is a big subject. Lots of people would say, I know about that, so what. Than theirs the others that says, I wish I would have known. It might be a big challenge for some to take the time to stay in good shape, and become healthier. TO have all the balance meals and all that stuff. The best way to do it, is TO TRY. You don't need to go to the gym to bring your heart in shape. You go for a good long walk, about 30 minutes twice a day. I can walk for an hour, back and forth. My mail box is that far. I do have a little video from Dr. Berg on your heart health, what is it link to. picture from pixabay

I walk back and forth to the post office once a day. Then I usually go for a long walk in the afternoon....depending on my commitments.

The first thing to do is to avoid junk food and eating healthy, then avoid worring about everything and get regular exersice. This of course is easier said than done, that's why high motivation and self-determination is required.

David, yes, junk food is the first thing to avoid, and lots of peoples eat too much of it. What motivate me to walk and do some light exercise is my varicose veins. If I don't move much, I suffer.

It is definitely worth continuing to try to better ourselves--better our diets, better our exercise habits, etc. So many people are too lazy to do so.

While for many things genes are to be hold responsible, but definitely a good lifestyle helps. Good food, exercise and adequate sleep go a long run in keeping us healthy and even our heart happy. We can not change our genetic make up but a conscious effort to improve our lifestyle helps us manage things well.
