Hi Suman Sharma. Is it the musical string instrument "guitar"?
You have to love music and the art. Be always inspired by the musical artists that you love or like. See, watch and learn how they do their musical artistry.
For self-learning and self-development for guitar skill/talent must study, practice more. Must be very sensitive to your sense of hearing, but don't just hear but listen very carefully of the sounds. Feel the rhythm and the beat.
You must first learn the beats and rhythm. Then the fingering styles and positions. Then master the power chords/tabs. Learn also about the guitar itself, like the structures, strings, accessories, etc.
Have some for guitar kinds of literature such as tutorial books/booklets. There are a lot of applications (desktop/smartphones/tablets) for guitars self-learning or tutorials. There are videos of tutorials on Youtube. There are also dedicated websites for guitars learning. Just keep on searching on the web. Like, "chordify.com". There are also available chords charts and with lyrics available for different kinds of songs you like.
And, BTW. Use nylon strings for your guitar. So, your fingers won't hurt easily. That can hurt you, have wounds, sometimes it can bleed, and also callouses. Even your guitar strings are on steels you can change that in nylons. Using nylons can also use the guitar in a longer time. Some use guitar gloves or finger caps.

GjAMastEr made a point that is one of the most important in the learning process ! He said " Be always inspired by the musical artists that you love or like. See, watch and learn how they do their musical artistry. " and this goes for friends and guitarists around you that you are in constant contact with ! You will learn a lot from them, along with what you learn on your own ! And that is very important !
I have played for over 50 years, and that is one of the most important things that I learned !

@musicman6 hi sir. Thanks a lot. You are a good man. Do you have videos jamming sessions or blogs that you can share? I love music like those classic rocks, slow, folk, country, blues etc. and many others. I can play the piano/keyboard/ and guitar. But, lately, I got less jamming sessions now. Lack of friends to jam with. So, now I'm trying to teach young generations, but still, time is no. 1 enemy. And, also those moods.

I'd take some lessons with a music teacher for the basics. Tell them to tell you how to go on practising for yourself.
I doubt that you will become good if you start from scratch without any supervision unless you are a musical genius. But if you were one, you wouldn't ask, would you. :-)

There are very good lessons on you tube. Playing the chord shapes rightly is the main task. This is very important and it will take some time. Don’t get discouraged, do not give up. Only practice can make you familiar wth the chords. Happy learning !
