It is amazing that three Belle Isle Middle School students named Keenan Estell, Damaraey Tomlin and Jabaree Williamson were playing basketball near the school grounds when they found underneath an orange juice cartoon a wad of money of $300 dollars. The three students who must have been raised by parents to be honest and stay out of trouble decided to turn in the money to the principal Lynn Kellert. The next day the owner of the money contacted the school to report the loss of $300 dollars when he was walking his dog near the school. The man who lost the money gave the three young 7th graders a gift certificate from Amazon worth $25 dollar each as a way of thanking them for doing what is right. The school is located in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Doing what is right is not always easy. However it is the right thing to do.

@celticeagle She was since the kids did the right thing since they know how they would feel if the shoe was on the other foot.

That was specially hard as they did not know the owner.

I know what you mean since the temptation to take the money and run was great.

That's good news to me. Unlike that one time some one brought back a cell phone and he was accused of being thief.

That is one of my pet peeves when someone tries to go what is right, they are accused of being thieves.

Shows what good parents can do in raising children. In other situations, the three would have divided up the money and not said a word.

May their tribe increase! Blessed are their parents who taught them to be honest. In these times of greed many other children would have hidden the money for themselves.
