Getting Back In The Groove!

Well, we left Saturday morning and came back on Tuesday afternoon. I've been trying to get back in the groove of things since. You'd think I would be use to these little trips by now. I have to make these little trips atleast once a month if not more to go see my daughter and attend face to face family therapy sessions. I can't wait until she gets back home. Although, I am glad to be able to visit the beach this frequently and to be able to see her. I was so very thankful we had a safe trip and the water wasn't up at Newport News or I would have been worried out of my mind about my daughter. Although I am glad to be home I miss being down there. I like it there ,I guess I would rather be there because I am closer to my baby and can get to her quicker. She is very homesick but hanging in there because she knows she needs help. Maybe it won't be much longer.

@Hannihar Thank you, as soon as she gets better she will be. At least she is getting the help she needs where she is. It was a tough decision but in the long run I know the right one.

@melissa1024 My nephew wants to live closer to his younger sister who lives near Austin Texas in a few years.

@Deepizzaguy That sounds like that would be nice for him. I hope he gets to move there.

a lot of times, time away from the familiar surroundings and people is good for ones character building.

@Plethos Yes, you are very right there. She is just having a hard time because this is her first time this far away from home. She is almost 400 miles away. She can't wait until she gets released so she can come home.
