I have been researching remote careers. I feel it might be the future. If you work at home or work remotely what is your job title? How did you get your first job?

We're starting to see more and more employers allow employees to work from home, thanks to technology and the ease of doing business through internet. My own employer allows many of us to work from home, as long as we still maintain some office hours. The thinking is, if we can be more productive at home, why not allow us to do it? In addition, we also have the thinking that it is easier for us to go meet our customers than it may be for them to come to our offices. So, we're allowed to set up "mobile offices" at a Starbucks or places like that where we can conduct business with our customers and clients. I know this is a little bit different from what you are talking about, but as time goes on we'll see more and more employees working from home...even those in traditional types of jobs.

I graduated 4 years ago. For the first job, I've worked for 2 years and a half and I worked as an engineer. I posted my resume on some website and waited for the call. After a couple of days the HR called me and asked me if I could come and have an interview. Then I was hired. So, I think it would be very nice if you can post your resume online and also searh jobs offline. Have a nice day. Hope you can get the job you like.

I am a teacher. But I am also accepting editing and writing jobs. I am still looking for other online jobs that would fit my schedule.
