I was laying in bed when my cat, Trenya jumped in and started playing with my hair, it's tickling my forehead but I loved it. Then, I started a convo with him..
Me: Tren, why don't we post a Stud Service online so you could have your own money to buy food, cat litter and shampoo. You will have lots of cute girlfriends and you may also buy toys that y...
Trenya: Ngryaaa0ooww~!!! $!#$!^&&*!!!
(and he went into beast mode and scratches my forehead)
Me: WTF?!!
I don't mean to say that I want him to be a gigolo like it's a bad thing, but now I can feel everyone gets offended easily these days.
Nah, I'm joking! I love my Cat~ ^_^

Ahhh, He's typical Siamese. They have only one close girlfriend and you're his. Suggesting that he goes to work and dates others is a bit offensive to him...after all you're his exclusive property! Siamese do tend to give "love" bites and sometimes scratches to show how much they love you. It also is a reminder that he considers you his and his alone so don't suggest to the handsome guy that he goes out with other gals and makes a few bucks....
I've had Siamese all my life and they're all that way. He wasn't offended, he just was establishing that you're his and his alone and none other would measure up to you.

@teltel Any time @teltel. Cats are wonderful creatures and they are so loving and giving. I currently have a orange striped cat named Petey. He is a sweetheart but he is more of my boyfriends cat than mine. He too gives "love bites" but his are a bit hard. Usually cats give very soft gentle bites to let you know that you are in their heart and that they love you dearly. Siamese are also very "exclusive" in their people. They don't have a lot of human friends, they have one family or person and they are exclusively their person. The cat won't wander off to find or add a new family to their list of people. They are one family or person type cats and they might allow you to pet them and admire them but they won't allow you to hold them for long periods of time or force yourself on them.
It's like his scratching you. He could have scratched you very deeply and severely. But again he was establishing how much he loves you. IF you ever need protection from an intruder or someone who is trying to force themselves on you the attacker better be prepared for some medical attention. Siamese are very possessive and protective. I have someone decide to try to attack me...when the police came they had to call the ambulance because of how severe the wounds were! The cat not only scratched the daylights out of the man, but he also did some serious biting too. The man was hospitalized for 4 days while the doctors took care of the wounds. My cat not only bit deep enough to draw a lot of blood, but he also bit through tendons, ligaments, and scratched the man's legs so deeply that he couldn't run away...shoot he couldn't even walk! The one thing about a Siamese is that they are like a fully grown, wild, male lion all squashed down and packaged into a small furry kitty body that no one would expect to have the fierceness in them to do the kind of damage that my cat did to the attacker.
Give Trenya extra treats and hugs and kisses from me. He is a very special boy that has a special person who shares her life with him.

@BearArtistLady Oh my God! I have learned so much from you! Thank you so much!
And about the incident that someone attacked you, that was really scary! I hope you're doing fine and had taken control of the trauma. Is Petey the one who came to your rescue? Such good boy, no that's an understament. He was so brave and that love he shown cannot be compared to anything else, wow! How was he? I almost got teary eyed while reading your story. Please send my hugs and kisses to him as well as I give yours to my Trenya

My cat gets offended if I sniff around him..or sneeze..that is sure to bring a glare and maybe an annoyed meow.

You want him to use his money to buy food, litter and shampoo? Your mistake was telling him that. You should have just said he could have anything he wants and then as his accountant, you just spend the money any way you want.

He won't stay offended for long, especially when he wants feeding.

I have 6 cats total. They are all bipolar. You could be petting your cat and they are so happy you are then you touch a certain part of their body where it feels uncomfortable they will freak out. It could have been anything really, they are all like that. I haven't met a cat that has not freaked out randomly, haha.
