Well, on Saturday after the library and the baking, I also decided to groom missy Daisy, she had been a bit adventurous in the garden, so actually I had to groom her, lol, and now that she is blind I won't take her to the dog parlour, so I bought some special shampoo for her, some dog nail clippers and a grooming kit.
First I trimmed her hair, she was quite calm during that, but when it came to clipping her nails, well, boy oh boy, can she kick! My sister had to hold her and I talked calmly while I carefully clipped her nails, I was shaking like a leaf afterwards. Then she shook half the bath water onto us while we were bathing her!
Then when we dried her or tried to, she rolled and skimmed around my sisters whole bed, and then she barked at us, telling us how unimpressed she was with us. All three of us were tuckered out after that! Here are some photos I took of missy Daisy.
Today was a holiday and I have been cleaning home, actually many vacuums can be heard today as I think others are catching up with chores too. I will try to stop by later to catch up here, but am off to make dinner now. I hope everyone had or is having a good Monday and all the best for the rest of the week to you all.
Photos are mine.

Yes, we tried to soothe her as best we could. We had to clip her nails and bath her before summer starts and I will no longer take her to a dog parlour. Thank you, Anna.

It's sad she's blind. She's a beautiful dog. I'm glad you got her grooming taken care of.

It was a shock to us when she went blind but she knows where to find everything and we love her to bits. Thank you.

her eyes clearly show there is opacity in its lens, probably due to cataract if it was for humans.
i think i read a duiscussion of yours saying Miss Daisy cannot see clearly anymore, please correct me if i am wrong.

You're right Ingrid, Daisy has gone blind and yes I do a discussion about it, the vet said we should not operate. So we just make sure she knows where to find everything and that she is secure.

I remember the days when we had a dog - it took two of us to bath her, the same as you. She hated the whole procedure, so I can sympathise with you.

Hi, Janet. Yes, it was quite a rigmarole. Thank you
@jaboUK luckily the three of us (including missy Daisy) agreed we won't be grooming her any time soon again.
