its really hard to change , it takes a lot of work. Main habits remain with us for the whole life. But I think the first five years are the most important in buidling a personality

yes i agree, take myself as an example, i was very crazy and funny man, from my child hood am always exploding noisy laugh from my class, this is because when i imitate an actor or a comedian my friends cannot bare that they will laugh lodudly, that is giving some kind of confidence in me but it is still continuing when i meet my school friends. I think there is no change in my character. But some changes are there but those are about my future. My personal character is always within me.

i agree with you. why means always we cant judge accurately about a particular person's character.in a period of time there is a chance to occur lot of changes in one character, depending on the circumstences.

I have to agree.I personally wish this wasn't the case but I've seen it in my own life over and over again.I am a very friendly,outspoken and attractive woman but the minute something in my life changes drastically,I become so insecure.I was unfaithful in my first marraige and when my husband nearly killed me,I divorced him and promised myself I would never do something like that again.Now,after having a baby and gaining a bit of weight,I feel so unatractive and my husband doesn't really to anything to make me feel otherwise.So I started having an affair with a guy 12 years younger than me.I need to feel loved and wanted and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I was raped and sexually abues when I was young.I really don't want to be like this.I love my husband and my three beautiful daughters and I'm afraid I'm going to loose them.
