One in each shoulder

One in each shoulder, a shot, that is.
It was the flu shot and the pneumonia shot. You do a second pneumonia shot a year later.
Kept me from sleeping well on my side.
Either side.
Hopefully, though, I will not get pneumonia this year.
Off I go to work now. Have a great day, or evening.

I don´t get those flu shots that most people put on every fall. In my country, people from a certain age on get them free. But I don´t trust vaccines.

@marguicha All the people I know who got the flu shot got the flu during winter. My husband and I never got the flu shot and never got the flu (o pneumonia) during all our life.

I know they are good for you, but I just hate needles.

I do not find them to be too terrible. I hope this helps my health this year.

I know what you mean about having a hard time to sleep. A couple months ago I got a tetanus shot in one arm and the pneumonia one in the other.

It probably is okay if you are not out in the public or exposed to sick people often.

@GardenGerty I go to the supermarket twice a week to buy my grocery, of course you are exposed to the public. I avoid to go during the "flu shot campaign" when many are vaccinated.

I got the pneumonia shot a few years ago, I think your good for 5-10 years on getting another one. I will be getting my flu shot in another month. My work does a free clinic with free flu shots etc.

I think this person is not as good as some at giving them. Usually it does not hurt me at all.

So, if you get a second shot the next year is that supposed to cover you for life? I know the shingles shot is supposed to be lifetime although it almost seems like I heard that there is a better one of those out now. I'd have to check to be sure.
I'm sure you'll be able to sleep on your sides tonight. I remember the shingles shot was more painful than most but I don't remember if it changes the way I slept that night or not.

I had the flu even when I did not work with children. I never want to have it again.

I need to get my flu shot soon. The kids already have had theirs.
