Rainy Day

This morning, we are having some rain and everything looks so green. Love the look.
I have to go and take a short walk soon (indoor) and then some housework as usual. The vacuum cleaner will come out again and work for a while.
Then, a short break and more of the vacuuming.
I must say that I do not enjoy cleaning anymore, getting harder and harder.
That's why I take so many short breaks, the only way I can handle it.
How is your degree of tolerance vs cleaning?

Cleaning is a tedious chore. It does feel good when it's done.

@JohnRoberts, Yes, it does feel good once the cleaning is done.

@LoriAMoore After your husband is done with the cleaning, you can reward yourself also.

We are in our new house and the cleaning part is good, but the place is a mess. We are putting new flooring down and there is stuff everywhere!! Hate this part of moving!!

@Hate2Iron, I hate it too when some work is being done inside the house, what a mess.

Cleaning is hard it needs a lot of effort and time. For me, I just clean what I can handle

It rained a little here yesterday morning then turned out to be a nice sunny day. It is raining again here today also but not sure how long it will rain for.
I find it hard to clean sometimes, I take short breaks too because of my asthma. I clean one room take a 15min break then go on to the next.

I am glad you are enjoying some rain. Here it is still very dry after a storm a few weeks back. I clean home every day because of missy Daisy and with the wind trying to bring in rain there is a lot of dust. Cleaning is just no fun.

You needed a vacuum cleaner that can work without your help and intervention. It almost sounds like you have one already. They aren't cheap though and I think one needs to monitor them anyway.
I don't get tired too much when cleaning but I feel if I have the extra time I should do more elevating and therefore not much cleaning is getting done. I told my husband I might do more laundry if he'd get his ready. But once I got home with this boot, and not the rain boot, I decided I'm not going to try to manage the stairs today. Maybe Sunday I'll be ready for a bit of work since I took off a few days.
In the next two weeks rain is in the forecast eight or more of those days. That won't be good for business. Once I know whether today's procedure helped my wound it might be fine to have time off from cleaning windows if I knew I'd be back at it again later in the month. But if I still need to go to the wounds clinic then I'd have to take the time off. And I've no clue yet which way it could go.
No worries it will work out. What they say 'it is what it is'.

@marlina as you already heard/read I have an Unna Boot on again and am elevating my feet most of the day.
When I had this procedure done before July it seemed to heal the other small wound a lot quicker. I thought it was the procedure itself but possibly it's the Unna Boot that helped it along. I won't know for a bit if it helps make a difference.

@MarymargII If that maid doesn't show up soon, we will be under a "dust attack" here.

I don't do much cleaning any more. My body aches just thinking about it.

I am a little OC so I always make sure that the surroundings are clean, especially my bedroom, the kitchen area, bathroom, and the living room.

I love to drench in rain but l don't like rainy season. It needs so much time to clean the clothes. Even wearing boots and raincoat also makes you uncomfortable.
