I’m in love but I'm not sure she's a gold digger. I'm not rich though.

This is the problem that comes from my best friend. He doesn't know whether his gf loves him or just his money. he doesn't know how to test her. Any way, he really loves her. and does not want to break up. However, he is really worried that she only loves his money. For example, their one-year anniversary is coming up. He said to her like'Hey, it's been a year since we lived together!' And his gf just asked directly‘So how are you gonna celebrate it?’ He said' Er.... I've got no idea now. Maybe we can travel to some place?' Guess what! His gf said 'If you have no idea, why don't you give me some lucky money? Money is really important!' Everytime he gives her gift, she always tries to evaluate. So based on all these actions. he thought his gf is a little bit like gold digger. Is she a gold digger? What could I do to help my best friend? He is really in pain now. :(

He could just stop giving her money or stop taking her to fancy places to see how she reacts. He could say he is saving money. Saving is important so she shoudlnt make problem, however if she does looks like she care about money. However try to help him from side and let him be judge.

In some ways this really doesn't mean she's a gold digger. She women just like money more then they do gifts. I know people that would rather have money, then they can buy or do what they want with it.

@Evaaaaaa you would be surprised how many women are like that. I know some that thinks as long as they are dating a men, that men suppose to pay all their bills! I'm like what the heck, there not his bills there yours, why do you think he should pay them!

Oh, I understand.Do you think it is common that she always says money is important, why don't you give me some lucky money? She asks for money so often and so directly. I wonder how people can ask you for money so directly?

@sweetashoney I totally agree with you! If women want the money why don't they earn it by themselves? Don't ask men to prove that they love you by only giving you money!

She's not a gold digger. She simply wants to know how they will celebrate. Even staying home together for the evening I'm sure would make her happy.

@Evaaaaaa I don't know why she says it unless she's not feeling he loves her.

I hope so . But what makes me feel bad is that she wants money and always says money is very important and why don't you give me some lucky money. How could she? I just can not understand.

If she's asking for money she could be a gold digger. I'd say let your friend not give her money and see.

You know it's hard to refuse her. He doesn't know how to refuse her. How to say something to tell her that I won't give you money I will use something instead.

I never thought that there are people who're saying they're in love but they just have other interests.
