It would be nice if I didn't have to be fearful when my children and grandchildren leave the house! What has gone so wrong the last 30 years or so? And societal morals the last 50/60 years or so?

Definately we should seek Justice, irrespective of what country we live in. Revenge does not make the situation right again, and can possibly exacerbate the situation.
