My doctor gave me Tylox for pain after a surgery, but it is way too strong, I was seeing things that was not there. My nanny told me because I hadn't ate before I took it. But hate to try again. Is this common to halucinate from pain medication if you haven;t eaten?

I don't know for sure about that, but I had Percoset after I was released from the hospital from a hysterectomy. I could see myself talking, and see the little bubbles with my words in it, like in the comics. It did not happen while I was in the hospital, but it may have been something different. What I did was take a half dose, and only when going to bed. I really did not have much pain, though. It could be that the problem was an empty stomache for you.

That is an extremely strong pain medicine you were given. Strong pain medications can make you feel like your seeing things that are not there. You need to call your doctor and tell them what happened and I am sure they can help you.
