What do you do when people around stresses you out? Some people would say, get the hell out of there. But sometimes, you have to be with those people (like when you are at work and these people are your office mates).
So, how do you handle this kind of situation?

I jog my frustrations and anger out. And instead of focusing on toxic colleagues I focus on my job and getting it done.
Working with a smile also helps. When you smile you infect others. You’d be surprise your grumpy colleagues would act better.

Oh yes, smiling helps. It affects me much (in a positive way) when people around me smile. I should try that out on other people.

@flapiz Wow, good to hear (or read). Cheerful and smiley people lightens the atmosphere in any situation. I have an office mate who is like that. Even if he criticize, it is so easy to take.

@pinoycity Yeah pay it forward. Most of my colleagues love me because I’m cheerful and smiley!

That was a good question. I always pray and I keep the faith.

Yes, drinking water also helps me calm down a bit. Taking a warm bath also calms me down.

Most of the time, I ignore them. But there are times when you have to communicate with them. Sometimes you get along with them pretty well. Sometimes, they give you headache.

Yeah, it takes time. I wish I can boot out the negative feelings caused by rude people immediately but it wont happen.

Yeah, that's what I do sometimes, get out of the scene and go for walks. It really helps.

No one does that here. Or else, he will be sacked out of the office.
