Good morning.Yesterday we went apple picking.
This morning made an apple pie.I use mac.
What type of apple do you use for your pie.
It came out good.
My next project will be apple crisp which I do not have good luck with.
Then it will be pumpkin pie.Fall is the busiest time and the best to bake
Have a good one.The photo is the pie

Sounds and looks yummy. We just get store bought ones. Just curious, how does fresh home grown apples have a corporate name?

@amadeo Oh, you mean store bought ones you buy. We on the west coast and usually get Washington. They are crazy good and bigger than most apples.

Well done Alfredo! I bet it tasted delicious! I’ve always wanted to try apple picking. My boyfriend used to do picking jobs in Australia and he told me it is modern slavery but I still would want to experience it.

I EAT Delicious and Granny Smith apples--I am not much of an apple pie eater or for that matter--now if you insist I'll let you make me a carrot cake--orange for Halloween! :O)

Your apple pie looks really nice. Granny Smith apples are often used for cooking here.

Happy October! It must be officially fall now since you're making apple pies.
What doesn't work out with your apple crisp?

@amadeo This is a recipe from my mom's church cookbook, and it generally works well for me. I sometimes use pie filling instead of just plain fresh fruit.
