Hello everyone! It's another new month again. October, here I am, ready to accept any challenges in life.
I have already plans for this month and I hope and cross my fingers that those I have in my plan will be a success. I will be visiting one of my best friends who is also living and retiring in the Philippines together with her German husband. They live somewhere near Dumaguete. It is in central Visayas.
It will be my first time traveling with my young cousin by bus from Cebu City and with a barge to Dumaguete. Is someone from Mylot living nearby? I could meet her if it is possible.
I am looking forward to this travel and maybe we could hop to Bohol where tarsiers and chocolate hills are located.
Do you have any plans for this month already?

They are tropical fruits @rebelann. Mangoes, guava, rambutan and star fruits or carambola. The guava is the round green one in the photo. Rambutan, the hairy one and the one that looks like a star in form is a star fruit or as it is called to others, carambola. The oblong ones are the mangoes. Thank you.

Thank you @hereandthere. Who is living in Cebu, Bohol and Dumaguete? I read that @sunrisefan comes from Dumaguete. I am busy with my garden that I seldom create some yummy food. Too hot to cook

I will be here for the whole winter in Germany @BelleStarr. I will miss the snow though, but not the coldness of it.

I will be spending winter here in the Philippines. My hubby has to go back to Germany this month and get some medicine which he could not buy here. He will be back soon when everything is fine. Our tickets are valid for a year and we can go back whenever we want. Just make a new schedule then for the flight.

I haven't visit Philippines before, but it's nearer to my country, Malaysia. I see many familiar fruits from your picture which we can find the fruits easily in my country too.
I am planning to get my home decluttered and organized by end of this month, and we will travel back to our home town (which is just about 3 hour drive from where we stay now) for a short vacation to visit my parents and parents-in-law. No other big plans.
Hope you will enjoy your vacation and have good time with your best friend.

Here in Canada next weekend is Thanksgiving, for me its a craft show. I love to travel but usually stay in Canada, the US, Mexico and the islands below those countries. I hope you have a wonderful trip.

I read in one FB post about Dumaguete City as one of the best cities for retirees. I guess it is because it is near the sea and is a beautiful place. I have not been there, but my sister-in-law married a man from that place and they said that city is really beautiful.
