Reducing your trash

In recent years, I've come across more and more posts/videos/articles about zero waste. I think it's a great idea, but actually going zero waste seems basically impossible to me.
Nevertheless, it has made me more conscious of what I buy and what I use at home. I do try to keep my trash to a minimum for the most part. I avoid buying items that are unnecessarily wrapped in plastic, I bring my own bags to stores, I don't use those plastic bags for vegetables or fruits, and I drink tap water.
These are just some examples of what I do. It's pretty basic, and I do more than just this, but I think if everyone were to keep these small changes in mind, there would be a lot less garbage in the world.
Are you aware of your trash? What are some of the things that you do to help the planet?

We recycle paper, plastic, glass and tin cans here. I do not drink tap water because we had a serious problem a few years ago and I was very happy we only drink bottled water. I buy water bottled in glass bottles and we bring back the bottles. I always use my bag when I go shopping.

You are doing good.
I am conscious about things that I buy. I carry my own bag for shopping. Plastic bags are banned in my place.

You’re doing something good for the environment. As for me, I use eco-friendly bag when shopping/grocery shopping, I don’t use plastic straws anymore.
