Clothes

I've been debating on whether or not I should start making my own clothes and just recently I decided the answer is yes, so I make a plain, black, cotton circle skirt and sewed it by hand because I'm scared of the sewing machine lol. Big tip: wash your fabric before you work with it. I've hemmed and washed it afterwards and I'm very satisfied with the results so next I'm thinking of making a very simple jacket that's just two pieces and very flowy. Who knows, maybe this winter I'll feel ambitious and make a jacket.

How I wish I knew how to sew so I can make my own clothes, and probably make a living from it.

@freelancermariagrace Thank you! It was only in a few places, so for the most part, it did pretty well! Next, I'm making the kimono jacket out of some royal blue polyester/cotton blend

mostly tutorials online have been the biggest help to me. I think starting small is the wisest thing to do, like mending holes in clothes, hemming pants, etc
