I dragged myself out of the house today to go to the oval to exercise. Took the bus to the city and it stopped at the bus port near the shopping centre.
I figured it was too early to jog I’ll wait in the mall until 5 pm when it’s not too sunny. In the mall I figured I should eat so I have a place to sit down peacefully.
Now I’m feeling heavy after 2 donuts and a cappuccino. I think I’d have to jog a lot to burn all this impulse eating!
Have you ever done something that is counter-productive to your goal?

My daughters like J.Co too. There are always long lines in Makati of people waiting to buy boxes of J.Co.

@sunrisefan Yes there are and it’s not too crowded in Cebu. I guess because there are lots of competition.

@flapiz Good thing there's already a branch in Bohol. I think they also have a branch/branches in Cebu's SM and Robinsons.

I run a lot, and also workout at the gym several times a week. My problem is, I am starving when I get done running or working out, so I end up eating more than I would have if had not worked out. I figure my body must need the extra calories, and I don't gain weight, so it must not be too counterproductive.

@moffittjc What do you do when you work out? Do you lift or do cardio? When I used to lift I don’t have problems with my weight. I can eat anything. But now I don’t really have access to the gym so I’m more careful.
Also I don’t do 2 hour runs anymore. My stamina isn’t that good. I can only last an hour and that’s with walking alongside.
Love the confidence!

@flapiz I can't work out on an empty stomach, so I have to eat before I workout, and then again after. Actually, I pretty much eat all day long. I have no idea how I maintain my boyish good looks! haha

Upon reading your post, I can't help but grin at the thought of your struggle since I am experiencing it most of my days. There are days when I crave for sweets, or for something delicious packed with empty calories. At the same time, I always have that thought/plan to do a little workout every now and then. There are times when I go for a run with my friends or do a little hiking, we sometimes end up eating greasy food and lots of carbs. More often than not, we just can't help it. Anyway, J.CO doughnuts are actually my favorite and I think it is okay for you to indulge once in a while as long as you know your limits.

You know what’s even worst. I ate those donuts and exercised really well that I felt like I burnt the fats. But then I had halo halo and lots of food after.
I need help!

I am desperate to shed off some weight. I’m turning 28 this November and I want to feel and look awesome so that the one year added won’t be as depressing as last year.
I know I should be grateful for living well and healthy. But I’m feeling pressured to settle as I age. And I feel like I’m not looking any younger

Well lucky you. I’m a sweet tooth so any diet regimen almost seem to not work on me. A little sweet and I forget my diet and my name

JCO donuts are not overly sweet which is good for someone who is watching his/her sugar intake. and as per your question, No. because I don't exercise

Well I’m a sweet tooth as I prefer Dunkin Donuts’ choco butternut than any donut. But thanks for pointing out that J.CO is less sugary. I feel more at peace. I can sleep tonight.
You look fit. I guess you were born with a nice body build.
