I am so confused either to use a radio or just a cellphone in listening to a news or some music. I want to listen to music in my room so I planned of buying a radio. My daughter told me just to use my cellphone, but I am not comfortable with it. There are times that if the weather is not good I can't get a good signal.

I will go for the radio if it is all about listening to a news.

I think it's best to buy a radio for your room. The mystery of not knowing what song will play next is really exciting. Once you heard a song that will stir your emotion, you go nostalgic and remember a moment in your life.

Some stations signal are not cleared in radio. Not easy to carry everywhere. Whereas cell phones are easy to take and move anywhere.

Radio for me coz more of my fave songs and old songs are still being played without searching for it and besides that"s what i grew up with for the youngsters they would choose cell phone coz it is their generation and they can multi task over their phone . I missed my white radio I used to listen to my fave station especially at night before I go to sleep.

It depends, I guess. You can use the radio if you're after the news but in terms of music, I prefer cellphone, you can download and save all your favorite songs and then play. You can also put your phone on speakers. The only downside is you can easily get used to the music and keep on skipping them until you run out of music to listen as compared to the radio which gives you unexpected music.
