Terrible Food

So I was offered a plate of food from a friend and oh boy was it nasty. I love rice and beans but that rice had no flavor and the beans looked so watery. I didn't want the food to go to waste so I ate it. I am not good at telling someone no . I ate like half so that he would not feel bad. I had a stomach ache all day lol. Would you have said no? I mean he had already served me so I didn't want to say no

I think it's okay to eat some of it and since you didn't like it at all, you can probably tell a white lie, like you're still full or you ate so much earlier. Or maybe you could tell the truth. Your friend might even appreciate your thoughts on his/her cooking and would probably learn to cook it the right way. Maybe you're just not used to its flavor. I actually like rice and beans.

@Ladanger yeah that's a good idea. That way, whatever the result maybe, you will be satisfied knowing that you took part in it.

Yes, if I think I will not like the food, I would have said no. I hope your tummy is better now

Among the finer things in life would be"Good food, good friends and good company". Apparently you didn't have any on this occasion.

Yes, I would say, I am full already, if I don't like a food. It would be that because I don't want to have a stomachache, eating a food that I do not like.

"No, I'm full." Ha ha... Easy said than done especially the food is already served. I think I will taste it also but maybe about one-fourth of it. Haha
