Store Vendors are good sources of information

I was at a walmart neighborhood market and ran into the "pepsi guy" that stocks for the store I used to work at (walmart not being the store I used to work at) and I talked to him for a few minutes.
I actually wanted to know if he had any Canada Dry Blackberry Gingerale in the back (he didn't, I had to go to the other walmart) but we also got to talking about where I used to work.
He told me who was there, who had gone, who had been promoted etc etc. One of these days I'd like to go late at night just before they close. No store manager will be there but my old co-workers would be and the cashier that works at night as well.
The reason for going would be to talk to some of the people that I used to work with who are still there.
I'm glad I left, but I was glad to talk to that vendor today and find out some things about the store.

Agreed. I had seen him at this location before but this was the first time I was able to stop and talk.

This is also true. I've been both an employee and a person who got to know my cashiers etc.

I'm not so sure about that... but heh. I was the only female on a team of all men.
