I am a smoker and public smoking in some instances can make me sick. I prefer to follow the rules and smoke only where it is allowed. I however cannot stand people in the public eye telling me why I should quit. I smoke because i want to. But secretly I smoke in the presence of non-smokers to piss em off. Why do you smoke? do you hate people telling you not to smoke? I can't stand people that wear too much cologne or perfume it makes me sick. What do you secretly wish to do to smokers or non smokers?

Thank you for your honesty. Smokers are People too and just because we have a bad habit that doesn't make us bad people. Smoking causes alot of health problems such as premature aging for one seasonal allergies and constant afflictions such as bronchitis. I know this and have experienced it yet I still smoke.

I am a non-smoker, and I really don't like to be around people when they smoke. I have several smoker friends, and when they smoke around me, it hurts my lungs, and I get paranoid that I stink like thier smoke for the rest of the day! I do agree, however, that if you want to smoke, then go ahead and do it. It is your body, but I just don't want it imposed on me!
